“Sensei Pepper’s Martial Arts Club Band - Attack Mode” by jayveezed.
Bruce Lee. Jackie Chan. Jet Li. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. They’ve got nothing on Sensei Pepper’s Martial Arts Club Band.
While many know of the Beatles phase of experimenting with mind-altering drugs, Indian philosophy and meditation, few know of their martial arts phase.
Their sensei at the time - Sensei Pepper - recalls in his inappropriately titled 1972 biography Within You, Without You: Lovely Rita, She’s Leaving Home: “It was just another Day in My Life when I first saw [the Beatles].I was Fixing a Hole in the dojo when they approached. After exchanging pleasantries - Good Morning, Good Morning - and some smalltalk, I immediately knew that within a year - When I’m Sixty-Four - and With a Little Help From My Friends, I could transform them into a formidable fighting machine.”
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band gets ninja-fied.

Stepping away momentarily from the world of geekiousness, I give the mike to pal and fellow RBC designer Midgerock:
“The Cancer” by midgerock
This design was inspired by my father. He was a pack a day smoker when growing up and died of cancer 2 years ago. This design is not a “happy joy-joy” design but more of a commentary on smoking and cancer, having envisioned cancer as this emerging creature from an ash tray of cigarette butts.
I know this design may not be for everyone, but its a personal piece for me and one that has a message that needs to be shared.Design up for voting at goodjoe.com for this week’s contest. Stop over and vote if you would like to see this printed.

Shallow Gravy, LIVE FROM HOME SCHOOL PROM! This was a fun design made in collaboration with my brother. He does music and design stuff as well and can be found here

Lunchtime Atop A Death Star.
“The dark side of Charles C. Ebbets’ iconic photograph.”

This is just simply awesome. “Eats, Shoots, and Leaves” by Midgerock.

I had fun recreating the A-Team series intro for the TRONiverse:
In 1983, an elite countermeasure program unit was sent for derezzing by the MCP for a protocol breach they didn’t commit. These programs promptly escaped from maximum quarantine into the Undergrid. Today, still wanted by the MCP, they survive as programs of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire… The A-Trons.
