Stepping away momentarily from the world of geekiousness, I give the mike to pal and fellow RBC designer Midgerock:
“The Cancer” by midgerock
This design was inspired by my father. He was a pack a day smoker when growing up and died of cancer 2 years ago. This design is not a “happy joy-joy” design but more of a commentary on smoking and cancer, having envisioned cancer as this emerging creature from an ash tray of cigarette butts.
